Rainman's Pork Chop Invention

Ingredients:

 4-5 Thick, Boneless Pork Chops.

 2 Tablespoons Olive Oil

 1/2 Cup Chicken Stock

1/4 Cup Rainman's Sweet-Hot-Sour Glaze

 Garlic Powder, Salt, & Pepper 

Procedure:

  1. Prehat oven to 350 Deg.
  2. Season the pork chops on both sides with the garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Heat a large sautee pan over hi heat and add the olive oil. Sear the chops over high heat, both sides, until they turn a nice, crusty brown color.
  4. Remove the chops to a glass dish in the oven.
  5. Deglaze the sautee pan over high heat with chicken stock and let reduce for a minute or so. Add the sweet-hot-sour glaze and stir until incorporated. Let reduce for another minute or two.
  6. Pour the sauce from the sautee pan over the chops and return to the oven. Bake the chops for another 20-25 minutes in the oven. Remove from the oven and let stand before serving.
