The brain is the center of the body's cognitive triad. With some of our most useful feedback tools being sight, smell, and hearing, these important senses are also housed within our heads. Since our head rules the rest of our body, it is appropriate, if not correct, to orient its representative triangle upwards.

The heart is the center of the body's locomotive triad. The heart pumps the blood that keeps all the rest of our organs alive. Interestingly enough, spiritual, religious, and romantic beliefs align the heart with the center of our souls, and this alignment works perfectly on the TOL!

The groin is the center of the body's reproductive triad. Now this is where it gets interesting! J

The tenth element is the physical world we live in. We are creative beings, so by creating we bring things into to the world (babies, ideas, products, results). We then represent all that is not "of us" as a circle at our feet. But it actually represents a sphere around our bodies which is the entire physical universe. We also recognize that all we create, and all things in our universe, have effects upon us. We represent this influence as a triangle within the circle at our feet.
